TrueBlueSolutions refers to a Mercedes-Benz package of measures we use to pursue our emission-free mobility target. One component of this package is BlueEFFICIENCY, which is implemented in six C-Class models: C 200 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY, C 220 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY, C 250 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY, C 180 KOMPRESSOR BlueEFFICIENCY, C 250 CGI BlueEFFICIENCY and C 350 CGI BlueEFFICIENCY.

The objective of this technology is to reduce fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. This is achieved, for instance, by reducing air resistance, and using lightweight materials and tyres with low rolling resistance.

The 4-cylinder diesel engine of the C 250 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY delivers impressive performance. It combines outstanding power (150 kW) and torque figures (up to 500 Nm) with excellent fuel efficiency and high environmental compatibility (and complies with the EU5 emissions standard).
