Emphasise the sporty temperament of the E-Class – with the optional sports package. It includes 18-inch alloy wheels with mixed-size tyres – 245/40 R 18 at the front and 265/35 R 18 at the rear (for 4MATIC 245/40 R18 all round) – and a sporty suspension.
On the technical side, the sports package makes its mark with a lower-slung chassis and a sporty-sounding twin-pipe exhaust system with oval stainless steel tailpipes. As well as being great to look at, the larger brakes with their anodised callipers and perforated front discs provide reassurance too, since they deliver outstanding braking performance when called upon.
