The 5-litre V8 engine in the G 500 has a peak output of 218 kW (296 hp) and a maximum torque of 456 Nm between 2800 and 4000 rpm, thanks to its 3 valves per cylinder and dual injection - optimum power delivery and refinement guaranteed. The G 500 also features the 7G-TRONIC automatic transmission.

The G 55 AMG also boasts some impressive technical data: from a displacement of 5.5 litres, this model’s V8 supercharged engine develops maximum power of 368 kW (500 hp) and maximum torque of 700 Nm. Its looks are appealing too, for example with 18-inch AMG 5-spoke alloy wheels, painted titanium grey, 285/55 R 18 tyres, body-coloured flared wheelarches, an AMG exhaust system with twin side-exiting tailpipes, a silver-painted radiator grille and trim strips in brushed aluminium.
