From the Affalterbach-based motorsport specialists comes the most powerful model of the S-Class: the S 65 AMG with AMG 6.0-litre V12 biturbo engine developing 450 kW (612 hp) and a maximum torque of 1000 Nm. The acceleration figures – 0 to 100 km/h in 4.4 seconds – are the stuff that racing drivers’ dreams are made of. At just 1000 rpm, the AMG V12 engine is already delivering 570 Nm to the crankshaft. The Active Body Control suspension’s new active wheel load distribution, or crosswind stabilisation, function, contributes constantly to maintain the vehicle virtually immune to outside influencing factors.

Like the S 63 AMG, the S 65 AMG is equipped with AMG high-performance composite brakes and AMG sports suspension. You select gears by means of the DIRECT SELECT lever and silvery aluminium shift paddles on the new AMG sports steering wheel. In the cockpit you’re welcomed by the AMG instrument cluster with the AMG main menu and the start screen showing the "AMG 12 BITURBO" boot logotype. And with the integrated RACETIMER you can even stop lap times.

In the vehicle interior, the high-value PASSION Exclusive leather appointments with its AMG V12 diamond pattern (exclusive to the S 65 AMG) impart a sporty ambience even before the V12 engine springs into action.

On the outside, the combination of new AMG front apron with AMG-specific LED daytime driving lights, large air intakes, side skirts and rear apron with diffuser in vehicle body colour gives the S 65 AMG an exceedingly powerful, athletic appearance which is rounded off by an AMG sports exhaust system with two chrome twin tailpipes in V12 design and 20-inch AMG twin-spoke forged wheels in titanium grey finish with mixed-size tyres.
