The consumption values given are only for the optional automatic transmission, without all-wheel drive]¹* combine power and economy in an exemplary manner in the Sprinter. The renowned engines have again been further optimised in terms of fuel consumption, for example, with a reduction of in-engine friction. All engines are available both with manual² and with automatic transmissions.

The demanding Euro-6 or Euro-VI emissions standard is upheld with the help of SCR technology (Selective Catalytic Reduction). This process reduces nitrogen oxide emissions in diesel engines by routing the exhaust gas through a catalytic converter where the nitrogen oxides³ are converted into nitrogen and water thanks to the addition of water-based AdBlue®.
